They are desperate, they lie, cheat, steal, threaten, blackmail, maim, murder, just like a Mafioso thriller. They have a lot to lose. Be forewarned that the discussions in the book are not a polite outline of heretofore undisclosed details. It tells not only what makes dirty politics ugly, but just how disgusting the whole mess is.
