The Daughters of Olive - In the Memory of the Martyrdom-Seeking Courageous Women of Palestine
Book information
Description
The Daughters of Olive is about brave heroines of Palestine who ascended to heaven in martyrdom seeking operations. These courageous young martyrs of Palestine sacrificed their lives in suicide operations and showed to the world that living with disgrace in occupied Palestine under savage and inhumane Zionist occupation was not acceptable to their dignity and daily humiliation of Palestinian women at the hands of barbaric and savage Zionist soldiers was intolerable to them. They preferred martyrdom with honor over life with disgrace. The book includes views of leading scholars on martyrdom seeking operations and short biographies with will testaments of martyrs Wafā‘ Al Idrees, Noura Jamal Shalhoub, Dāreen Muhammad Abu-Aisheh, Ayat Muhammad al-Akhras, Andaleeb Khalil Taqatiqah, Heba Azem Draghema, Hanādi Tissir Jarādāt, Reem Saleh al-Riyāshi, Zainab Ali Abu Salem with a special note on martyr Dalal Al Mughrabi What you are reading is the third chapter of the book “Palestinian Woman in the range of a Zionist sniper”, written by Esmail Abdul-Latif al-Ashqar and Momen Muhammad Ghazi Bessissou. The sections on the martyrs ‘Noora Jamal Shalhoub’, ‘Zainab ‘Isa Abu-Salem’ and Dalal Al-Mughrabi have been added to the original text after being compiled by the Research Department of Setad Pasdasht Nehzat Jahani Islami (Office for the Global Islamic Movement). This book, on the occasion of International Conference on ‘Dukhtarane Zaytoon’ (The daughters of Olive), was translated by the Office for the Global Islamic Movement in the memory of the brave and self-sacrificing women martyred in Palestine and published with the cooperation of Bonyade Shaheed wa Umour Issargaran (Martyr Foundation). We hope that all those who shared the effort for the printing of this book will have the blessing of these brave women martyrs, who are alive and whose pure spirits are in peace in the heavens and the dwellers of the earth owe their lives to their reviving martyrdom. Professional Linux kernel architecture ''Wrox programmer to programmer''--Cover. - ''What you are reading right now is the result of an evolution over more than seven years: After two years of writing, the first edition was published in German by Carl Hanser Verlag in 2003. It then described kernel 2.6.0. The test was used as a basis for the low-level design documentation for the EAL4+ security evaluation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, requiring to update it to kernel 2.6.18 (if the EAL acronym does not mean anything to you, then Wikipedia is once more your friend). Hewlett-Packard sponsored the translation into English and has, thankfully, granted the rights to publish the result. Updates to kernel 2.6.24 were then performed specifically for this book''--P. ix
