Crochet for the cure! A heartfelt collection of 35 designs, this book offers hats, scarves, lapghans, slippers, a teddy bear, book bag, book mark and much, much more. Each design was thoughtfully inspired to help keep breast cancer awareness front and center. And, a portion of each book sold will be donated to breast cancer research being conducted at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center. The IU Cancer Center includes a 31-member research team with expertise in early detection, new treatment development, and prevention of breast cancer. The center collaborates with other elite programs nationally to translate science into solutions for patients. In Indiana, the center stands alone as the only cancer care program with expertise in both basic science and clinical research. Breast cancer patients have access to treatments available nowhere else in the world, with a cancer research program ranked as "outstanding" by the National Cancer Institute. This designation signifies that new research findings are being utilized to enhance quality and length of life for patients in Indiana and around the world. Skill level: Easy to Intermediate
