This volume constitutes the proceedings of the Workshop "Nonlinear Physics Theory and Experiment. IF held in Gallipoli (Lecce, Italy) from June 27 to July 6, 2002. The purpose of the Workshop was to bring together qualified scientists and young researchers who study nonlinear physics, mathematics or science.
