Settled since several thousand years the Baltic Sea area has a rich and to some degree well documented prehistoric material culture. The remains show various patterns of interaction both within the Baltic area and beyond. This publication focuses mainly on the prehistoric Island Societies in the Baltic Sea during the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age, c. 2300-1100 BC.
