This is part one (of two) of the appendix to Volume II of the Antepreparatory documents of the Second Vatican Council, often referred to as the *Analyticus Conspectus*.The *Analyticus Conspectus* is a collection and synthesis of the eight volumes of written responses ( *vota* ) from the bishops, prelates and religious superiors of the world regarding what they wanted to see discussed at the Second Vatican Council. It organises the *vota* into categories and propositions, noting which bishops mentioned each proposition.The subjects covered in this part are as follows: Chief Doctrines - General Norms of the Code of Canon Law - Persons - Clerical Discipline - Seminaries - Religious - Laity.
