Treating of all the causes of education the author finds that the teacher as well as the strudent, is an efficient cause of education in the student. Obviously this conclusion is at variance with the views of dewey and the progressive educationists. The author concludes that there are three efficient causes in education; God, the student and the teacher. Thus the teacher is not a mere condition or an occasion of redirecting the ideas of the student.
