Multicultural Mathematics: Interdisciplinary Cooperative-Learning Activities
Book information
Description
Multicultural Mathematics is fascinating! The book is set up as a series of exercise sheets, dealing with ancient Egyptian, Chinese, African, American Indian, and other math systems, and it's all fun! The suggested age is 5th or 6th grade, but I'm long out of school, and I was hooked on it. It might also be a way to interest someone who's a little turned off on traditional math.
