Mathematical model of plasma renin activity after nicardipine treatment is developed. System identification of the process is done applying the cyclic coordinate descent as optimization procedure. The model allows predicting the effects of different drug doses and allows the researcher to examine the behavior of the system under all conceivable conditions.
