Description

The first volume of the Socio-Intellectual History of the Isna'Ashari Shi'is in India outlined the early history of the Shi'is and the Shi'i intellectual and social life in India from the seventh to the end of the sixteenth century. It discussed the life and intellectual contributions of Qazi Nuru'llah Shustari at some length. The present volume deals with the Shl'i struggle for existence in the Northern India from the seventeenth to the end of the nineteenth century.
