Description
This is a guide to writing science fiction by a published science fiction author. It is aimed at the writer who wants to develop well-paced narrative, improve characterisation and create compelling fiction. Christopher Evans discusses the central concerns of the genre, drawing on the work of such figures as Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Brian Aldiss and Christopher Priest. There are chapters on plotting, dialogue and rewriting, and help for those submitting their first novels to publishers. Christopher Evans is the author of "Capella's Golden Eyes", "The Insider" and "In Limbo" and was previously the editor of "Focus", a British Science Fiction Association magazine.
