History of electromagnetism
Book information
Description
It is the purpose of this book to attempt to give to the reader, who has arrived upon the world scene in the midst of a scientific explosion, a sense of perspective and direction. The word explosion as it is used here is not entirety accurate because it implies a sudden, violent, and instantaneous event. Ttre burgeoning of science resembles more nearly the propagation of a new grain from a few seeds, to a few bushets, and finally to a tremendous harvest.
