Just weeks before this momentus event Jon, now a man, finds himself on a train after another dreary day at work, when he sees something that sends him on a life changing journey. Is the little girl on the train an apparition, a memory? the hallucination of a tired, bored mind? Repeated visions of the little girl compel Jon to seek answers, answers which throw up more questions every step he takes. Powerful people are moving events within opposing secret organisations across the globe as each side struggles to protect their interest in the girl and utilise her impending powers. The race is on to find her before the time of The Foretelling, a time when humanitys true potential will be remembered as prophesised by a forgotten civilisation, a potential that in the wrong hands could halt the evolution of our species forever. Meanwhile, around the world artifacts are quietly being uncovered that further question our established belief systems, how much do we know about our history, how much has been hidden or erased? A huge perfectly spherical quartz crystal is found by the US military in bedrock three miles under the ice in Antarctica, ancient esoteric boxes which have arcane powers find their way into the hands of a chosen few, crystal skulls around the world begin to glow and a young telepathic Inca girl and many others from all corners of the globe become aware of their role in spreading the knowledge of the forthcoming event. At the climax of the story the central characters converge and confront their adversaries. The event prophesised by ancient scriptures is witnessed globally, the nature of the girls powers and their implications are revealed. The answers to the most profound questions of our existence, and more importantly, what lies in the future for the whole of humanity is felt by all.
