They describe regression analysis in light of instrument calibration, identification of an analyte by multi-measurement analysis, smoothing of spectra signals, peak search and peak integration, Fourier Transform methods, uncertainty analysis, and the unlikely but effective tools of artificial neural networks in analytical chemistry.
