American Journal of Physics. 55 (12), December 1987Angle of departure, angle of fall, and the position of the summit of trajectories in air are calculated with neglect of the effect of the air on the fall from the line of departure. Experimental information required is times of flight against range or remaining velocities against range. Calculated values are compared with observed values for a supersonic bullet.
