Linux Cookbook I was under the impression that this was an introduction to Linux for those who know little or nothing about it (its title gives that impression, as well as some of the promotional copy). This is not the case at all. It is highly technical, more of a look-up, reference manual for geeks. If you're looking for a good introduction for the novice, the OTHER "Linux Cookbook, 2nd Edition," by a different author and different publisher, is very good. The Linux Cookbook, Second Edition
