Description

These papers were written in honour of professor Eva Ahlstedt. The authors are scholars from universities in Sweden, Norway, France and the Netherlands. The subjects approached cover a broad range of areas within linguistics, trans- lation studies and literary studies. The book is divided into four parts, according to the themes treated. The first part is devoted to the French writers Proust, Gide and Duras and the second part to the themes Narration and Autofiction. The theme of the third part is Influences: Translation, Transfer and Transformation. The fourth part, Textes palois – Texts from Pau, consists of papers presented at a conference in Pau, France, in May-June 2012.
