What are our duties or rights? What should we do? What are we responsible for? How do we determine the answers to these questions? This book examines and explains the philosophical issues underlying these everyday questions. It explains the nature of normativity, namely of the fact that, and belief and feelings that one should do something, that there are reasons for certain actions, or for having certain beliefs or emotions, and various basic features of reasoning about what to do.
