Engineering Design Handbook - Elements of Aircraft and Missile Propulsion:
Book information
Description
This 1969 Handbook replaces AMCP 706-282, Propulsion and Propellants Handbook and is not merely a revision to update the text material. This handbook is intended to provide engineers and military personnel with a general description of the characteristics and design features of the propulsion systems for missiles and aircraft either employed in or being developed for weapon systems. The handbook is divided into two parts: Part One: Chemical Rocket Propulsion and Part Two: Air-breathing Jet Propulsion Engines. Part Two represents the new addition which is devoted to air-breathing engines, other than piston engines, employed for propelling winged aircraft, helicopters, and target drones.
