Description

The 2007 interim assessment report provides a first report from the Task Force, which was mandated to obtain a better understanding of intercontinental transport of air pollution and to provide estimates of source receptor relationships for intercontinental air pollution. The report aims to provide the Convention with necessary information for its first review of the 1999 Gothenburg Protocol. It is based on written contributions from 50 international experts and the deliberations of the Task Force at its third meeting in 2007 in Reading, United Kingdom, and addresses important aspects of assessment of intercontinental transport of air pollution.
