Description

In recent years there has been a large outpouring of work in the field of physical organic chemistry and there is a need for a forum for exchange of views and for critical and authoritative reviews of topics which this title provides. The contributors have been encouraged to review topics in a style that is not only somewhat more speculative in character but which is also more detailed than presentations normally found in textbooks. Appropriate to this quantitative aspect of organic chemistry, contributors have been encouraged in the citation of numerical data. The emphasis in each chapter is the personal ideas of the contributor.
