Including over 100 illustrations, photos and tables, Essentials provides a look into contemporary nutritional issues such as pediatric vegetarianism, childhood obesity, diabetes, eating disorders, chronic disease, pharmacologic considerations, physical activity and weight management, and unique nutrition needs in the older adult.
