Description

Article. D. Muresan et al Structural investigation of calcium-soda-phosphate glasses with small content of silver oxide // Journal of Optoelectronics and Advanced Materials. 2006, Vol. 8, No. 2, P. 558 - 560.Calcium-soda-phosphate glasses of (100-x)[50P2O5×30CaO×20Na2O)×xAg2O system, with x 0.25 mol % were prepared by classical melting and casting method. The samples were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XDR), Raman, infrared (IR) and 31P magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS-NMR) spectroscopies. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns consist in a broad line, typical of vitreous systems. The Raman and IR spectra show significant distorsion of the phosphate groups with silver doping level. Both Raman, IR and 31P MAS-NMR results reveal the presence of Q1 and Q2 species
